Your privacy matters to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. This Policy describes the information visitjsm.org collects, why it is used, when it may be disclosed, and the choices available to you.

1 Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Jimmy Swaggart Ministries (“JSM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit or interact with visitjsm.org, including its pages, forms, videos, and other features (collectively, the “Site”).

This Policy applies only to personal information collected through the Site. Other JSM ministries, schools, media services, stores, donation pages, apps, and websites may provide their own privacy notices. When you follow a link to another website or service, review the privacy notice displayed there.

2 Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Site.

Information you provide. We may collect:

contact information, such as your name and email address;

visitor and RSVP information, such as your planned visit date, the number of people in your party, family members’ names or age ranges, and requests related to your visit;

communications, including questions, feedback, requests for information, and other messages you send us;

email preferences and records showing whether you subscribed, unsubscribed, or interacted with a ministry communication; and

any other information you choose to provide through a Site form.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information, such as your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, video interactions, date and time of access, and cookie or similar technology identifiers.

Information from other sources. We may receive information from service providers that support the Site, email delivery, analytics, advertising, embedded media, form processing, or security. We may also receive information when you interact with JSM content or advertisements on another platform, subject to that platform’s settings and policies.

3 How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

respond to inquiries and provide requested information;

process and coordinate visitor requests, RSVPs, seating or parking arrangements, and other visit-related services;

communicate with you about your request, planned visit, services, events, or schedule changes;

send ministry news and promotional emails when you have chosen to receive them;

personalize and improve the Site, its content, and the visitor experience;

measure Site traffic, video engagement, campaign performance, and how visitors use the Site;

maintain the security, availability, and integrity of the Site;

detect and prevent fraud, misuse, harmful activity, and violations of our Terms of Service;

comply with legal obligations and protect JSM’s rights, property, safety, and ministry operations; and

create aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

4 Email and Other Communications

If you join our email list, we may send ministry news, event information, invitations, and other updates. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send non-promotional messages needed to respond to your request, confirm an RSVP, provide important visit information, or administer your preferences.

Do not provide a mobile telephone number unless a form specifically requests it. JSM will not send marketing text messages based solely on an email or visitor form submission. If text messaging is offered in the future, any additional consent and terms will be presented at the point of collection.

5 Cookies Analytics and Similar Technologies

The Site and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies can keep the Site functioning, remember preferences, protect forms, understand Site usage, measure video and advertising performance, and support relevant outreach.

Cookies may be grouped as strictly necessary, functional, analytics, and advertising cookies. Some cookies are placed by third parties whose content or services appear on the Site, such as website hosting, analytics, video, mapping, social media, or advertising providers. Those providers may collect information directly from your browser and process it under their own privacy notices.

You can control cookies through the Site’s cookie banner, when available, and through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect Site features. Where required by law, nonessential cookies will not be used until you provide the required consent.

6 Analytics Advertising and Global Privacy Signals

We may use analytics tools to understand visits, traffic sources, page and video engagement, and campaign results. We may also use advertising technologies to measure advertisements or reach people who may be interested in JSM. Depending on the technology and applicable state law, certain disclosures of identifiers and internet activity for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale,” even when no money is exchanged.

JSM does not sell personal information for money. Where required by law, you may opt out of targeted advertising or qualifying sharing through the Site’s cookie or privacy controls. We will process browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where legally required and technically supported. Because there is not yet a uniform response standard, the Site may not respond to all “Do Not Track” signals.

7 How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

JSM personnel and related ministries that need the information to respond to you, coordinate your visit, provide requested services, or administer the Site;

service providers that support website hosting, forms, email delivery, analytics, advertising, video, security, information technology, data storage, and other operations;

professional advisers, including attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers;

government authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud; and

a successor or other party involved in a merger, reorganization, transfer of assets, or similar organizational transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

We may disclose aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We do not permit service providers to use personal information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to us, except as allowed by law.

8 Related Ministry and Third Party Websites

The Site may link to Family Worship Center, SonLife Broadcasting Network, Jimmy Swaggart Bible College, Family Christian Academy and Preschool, ShopJSM, streaming platforms, social media, donation services, event services, and other websites. Information you provide directly to a linked site is governed by that site’s privacy notice. JSM is not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of unaffiliated third parties.

9 Family Information and Children

A parent, guardian, or adult organizer may provide limited information about family members, such as names or age ranges, when planning a visit. Please provide only information reasonably necessary for the request. By submitting information about another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Site without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and delete it as required by law.

10 Sensitive Information and Ministry Communications

Your decision to visit or communicate with a ministry may reveal or suggest information about religious interests or beliefs, which can be considered sensitive information in some jurisdictions. We use this information only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, provide ministry or visitor services, communicate with you as permitted, and operate the Site. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for unrelated commercial purposes.

Do not submit financial account information, government identification numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through a general contact or visitor form. General website forms are not designed for confidential counseling. Prayer requests and pastoral communications submitted through the Site are not guaranteed to be confidential or legally privileged.

11 Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to requests, coordinating visits, maintaining communication preferences, operating and securing the Site, keeping appropriate ministry and business records, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you, operational needs, and legal requirements. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information for a longer period.

12 Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using appropriate caution when sending information online.

13 Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may also adjust browser and cookie settings as described above.

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; obtain a portable copy; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of targeted advertising, qualifying sharing, or sales. You may also have the right to appeal a decision regarding your request and to receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

To make a privacy request, contact us using Section 18. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. If we deny an appealable request, our response will explain how to appeal.

14 International Visitors

JSM is based in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we process personal information as necessary to respond to your request or provide requested services, based on your consent, for JSM’s legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Site and communicating about its ministry, or to comply with legal obligations. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

15 Third Party Content and Embedded Media

Pages on the Site may include embedded video, maps, social media posts, or other third-party content. When you load or interact with embedded content, the provider may receive your IP address, device information, cookie identifiers, and information about your interaction. Your use of that content is subject to the provider’s privacy notice and settings.

16 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on the Site and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.

17 Terms of Service

Your use of the Site is also governed by the visitjsm.org Terms of Service.
