Driven by curiosity and built For Evangelist Jimmy Lee Swaggart, ministry was never simply a career—it was his life’s calling. From humble beginnings preaching throughout rural Louisiana to carrying the Gospel into homes around the world, his heart remained centered on one purpose: reaching souls with the message of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Baton Rouge became home to his family and the headquarters of the worldwide ministry he built, and it was from here that he preached, taught, wrote and sang for more than seven decades.
Brother Swaggart’s impact extended far beyond the pulpit. A gifted pianist, singer, author and broadcaster, he sold more than 17 million gospel recordings, authored scores of books, commentaries and study materials, and created The Expositor’s Study Bible, which has sold more than 4 million copies. His television ministry grew from a weekly program produced in Baton Rouge into an international broadcast reaching audiences around the world, while his unmistakable voice and anointed music became beloved by generations.
Yet among his greatest legacies was his family. Alongside his wife, Frances, Brother Swaggart built a life and ministry rooted in faith, and today his son, Pastor Donnie Swaggart, grandson Dr. Gabriel Swaggart, and generations of the Swaggart family continue the work to which he devoted his life.
Though Brother Swaggart passed away in 2025, the ministry he began continues forward from the city he called home—Baton Rouge—still preaching the same message, reaching the world and carrying his legacy into a new generation. purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution.

The legacy of Evangelist Jimmy Lee Swaggart is not simply something remembered—it is alive and moving forward through the generations of his family today. From preaching and pastoring to television, education, music, writing and business, the Swaggart family continues to build upon the foundation he established while finding new ways to reach a new generation. The methods may continue to grow and evolve, but the mission remains unchanged: to preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified and carry the Gospel from Baton Rouge to the world.

For more than seven decades, Frances Swaggart stood alongside her husband, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart, helping build a ministry that would reach around the world.
Today, she remains an active leader at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries and co-founder and co-pastor of Family Worship Center, while continuing to host Frances & Friends, her daily live program on SonLife Broadcasting Network.
With her steadfast faith, biblical insight and decades of leadership, Frances continues to play an important role in carrying forward the ministry and legacy she and Brother Swaggart built together.

Pastor Donnie Swaggart has spent his life carrying forward the evangelistic calling and Message of the Cross that have defined the Swaggart family for generations.
Today, he serves as co-pastor of Family Worship Center and an evangelist, preaching regularly in Baton Rouge while continuing to travel nationally and internationally for evangelistic meetings.
Known for his passionate, uncompromising preaching of Jesus Christ and Him crucified, Pastor Donnie is also the leading presence on SonLife Broadcasting Network, helping lead Jimmy Swaggart Ministries into its next chapter while continuing the legacy established by his father, Evangelist Jimmy Lee Swaggart.

Dr. Gabriel Swaggart represents the next generation of leadership at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, carrying forward the legacy of his grandfather, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart, while helping shape its future.
He serves as the co-pastor of Family Worship Center and is a familiar face to audiences around the world through SonLife Broadcasting Network, where his preaching and teaching remain centered on Jesus Christ and the Message of the Cross.
Today, Dr. Swaggart is also leading a renewed vision for Jimmy Swaggart Bible College, focused on developing the next generation through Christ-centered education, sound biblical theology and helping students discover and pursue their God-given purpose.

Matthew Swaggart is part of the next generation carrying the Swaggart family’s legacy of faith, leadership and ministry forward.
Today, he is stepping into a growing preaching ministry, sharing the Gospel at Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge and in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he is also a successful entrepreneur and owner of HoldFast Gear.
He is the author of From Sheep to Soldier, a powerful call for believers to move from passive faith to a life of courage, purpose and obedience, and is currently preparing to release his next book in the new year.
